**Note this fuel system layout does not have a seperate feed for pump two from a second fuel filter or gasculator. It draws from only one point. Having a second feed for pump two gives you a clean filter or gasculator when pump two is turned on.

Here’s a photo of the series recommended Rotax fuel pump setup using manifolds. They had this at the Rotax maintenance class I attended in Canada. Nice and clean. These manifolds and this setup were designed for use in certified 914s. I was going to buy the manifolds until I found out they had “precious certified” costs as well. I went to McMasters and Aircraft Spruce and found “off the shelf” manifolds that worked for much less. Thanks to Dan Bish A144 for digging these out. He also has a photo in the Europa build gallery on this setup.
Jerry

The check valves are there they are the small silver guys. They also are a very
expensive certified Katana part. I think this layout meets the Rotax series
requirement but obviously doesn't show the filter which is also asked for.
I'd like to consider your fuel distribution setup more closely, as I might be able
to use the X fitting as my fuel manifold. I have to make a system, if I can, that
can be removed through my fuselage hatch. I want to try and make the entire fuel
system be able to dangle out of the bottom of the fuselage, and the fuel hoses, and
electrics disconnectable, with quick connects.
I don't get the layout of hoses and was wondering if you could help me identify
direction of flow from one of your pictures. I thought I'd no the hoses, and ask if
you wouldn't mind telling me which way the fuel goes? Any help here would be much
appreciated
Reg

Hi Tony

4 is main feed coming from fuel selector

2 is feeding gasculator 1, 12 is output from gasculator 1 feeding pump 1
3 is feeding gasculator 2 , 10 is output of gasculator 2 feeding pump 2
11 is output of pump 1 through 1 way valve if pump 2 is off
1 is output of pump 2
1 and 11 meet up with a "Y" fitting under edge of wood and makes up high pressure exiting fuel going to the fuel pressure regulator via 5
6 and 7 are drains for fuel tank
8 and 9 are hard to tell what they are, but pretty irrelevant, there are 4 hoses running down
tunnel, main inlet from selector, main outlet going to the fuel pressure
regulator and two fuel tank drains. If you really need to know what 8 and 9 are, let me know and will look into a little closer.
*Used finer mesh Stainless screen
*Turned two Aluminium spacers, one mid span and one on end
*Reduxed spacers to copper drain
IMHO Mini has no business on a Europa, just too little surface area. Very foolish to install Mini downstream of supplied filters, supplied filters will pass small debris to clog Mini, and supplied filters will not pass much in the way of water! 375 has a filter as you can see, thus no supplied filters needed and it is a drainable gasculator. Remember a 914 flows a lot more fuel than its war emergency power rating because of impressive amount of fuel returned to tank.
