Port door lever guard installed with Redux and 3 rivets, then covered with 3 plies of thin model aeroplane cloth.
We will fill when aeropoxy / 30 minute is still tacky.

The 3 plies of glass lapped around the curved portion of the door.
These 3 plies gave the .032" thick G-10 about the rigidity of the supplied aluminium.

Wayne filed down rivets and laid up 3 thin model aeroplane cloth plies.
After glass was plenty tacky, filled with Expancel.

Wayne installed a thin G-10 guard for the Starboard handle.
It is being held in place with Redux and 3 rivets.
It will get one BID once Redux cures.
Note that the cover is butt against the mechanism cover, not overlapped.

Starboard side has a nice clean slot with smooth action.
Since we had the lever positioned where the internal mechanism was closest to the cover, (just barely touching), during cure, it just kisses the cover near full opened during throw.

Starboard side cured.
I am thinking to perhaps Redux in a piece of G-10 that will serve as a lever guard and also strengthen the compromised glass.
Then cover seam between the G-10 guard and the cover with 3 thin plies of model aeroplane cloth, (.010" thick, about the same as 1 BID).
The G-10 would be butt against this just installed cover.

Starboard pull handle installed.
This side is clocked 90 degrees to that of the position of the Port side aft door handle.
The next time we put in seat cushions, we will decide the final handle position.

At the moment we are not sure if we want the handle positioned as this side is, or clocked 90 degrees like we have the Starboard aft door handle positioned, (next pict).
