Ron, Great talking to you, you are really in tune to what's happening, so keep building and experience the flying. As for Fred's fairings, They look nice, and he did a great job of molding them... I believe they will add a touch of speed. I see the same problem with the MG Wings interchange. I also think it will add a few weeks to build time, and an undetermined amount to making them interchangeable. Now that you are at the end of the project, it will be a race against time and completion hopes with changes now. It was a pleasure to meet you in person. After taking a look at Fred Kleins wing root fairings, they look quite nice. Very similar to the Lancairs that was parked by the pilot lounge. I think Frans purchased some and is making them removable so he can switch to glider wings. Four questions: 1) Do you like Freds fairings? 2) Realistic what increase do you think you would see with a Mono XS with 914 and Airmaster with fairings only on the double outrigger flap arm area? 3) Do you think it's feasible to have them removable so i can switch to glider wings? 4) do you think the effort is worth it? Thx. Ron P.
