I installed the fairing near the end of the project, when practically
everything was already finished. Of course, installing the rear anchor
nut is a bit less convenient through the D-panel, but not enough reason
to postpone installing the bagage bay in my opinion.
Also, my experience is that the bagage bay adds considerable stability
to the fuselage and may in fact alter a few dimensions slightly.
