Completed 2 BID reinforcement aft of Ultimate ventilator on port side to just about front of headrest after injecting a few voids with a bit of Redux/flox. Gave worst area about 12" aft of Ultimate ventilator another 2 BID, so the worst area has 4 BID above front lift pin. Ultimate ventilator area has a 4 BID reinforcement ring about 6.500" in diameter.

The aperture closed down on the digital camera from the 500 watt quartz halogen lamp, but take my word that the OK bonded starboard seam cutout and the port completely unbonded cutout looked the same.
Tap test sounded the same when on fuse I think due to small stalactite and stalagmite contact??

Better picture, darker area on left was where Redux was applied, full contact with almost no strength.
One note, we spent a lot of time scuff sanding the fuse seam, first with 36, then 80 grit. I made it a point to scuff both top and bottom edges. Ended up that was the only areas that bonded, (as you can see in pict of break line)!

You can see stalactites and stalagmites on left, they are glossy, except for slight edge on top and bottom and slight contact area of stalactite and stalagmite point contact, there is no bond.
Since this was a good sample for testing, first test on right side put a dab of Redux on unprepared sample. Bond was about as strong as if Redux was trying to adhere to packaging tape. Figured that perhaps Redux was too runny and flowed out not allowing enough Redux remaining for full contact bond? Next test was Redux with a bit of flox. No joy, full coverage, no bond to speak of. Yes injecting Redux with a little flox will rid void of air and make you feel better, but there is no bond to speak of that is created.

There was one small aft area on port side where clecos/screws were changed out during bond that had a few voids, it got 2 BID.
