I was able to remove the clecos with little difficulty the next morning. I plan to let the Araldite cure for about 5 hours before I try to remove the clecos. My hope is that will allow the Araldite to cure sufficiently to hold the bond, but still allow reasonable removal of the clecos. Put the wingtip back on and strap it tightly in place. Before each cleco is inserted, it is well greased in the hope that I can eventually get it out again. And bottom all clecoed. Now mixed up a 500 grain batch of Araldite. Added just enough flox to keep it from running all over. My cleco locationg methodology. Use a "silver" 3/32 cleco & #42 drill to locate the first hole. Sunday, 2008 03 16, had time to get back to the workshop after some honey-do's. Used a ratchet strap to pull the wingtip up tight.
