Oh F...!

First time I try to close the doors, the lugs both disintegrate under the slightest pressure. Surely this cannot be the intention?
Asking around, it seems there should be an aluminium bracket inside the lug. In mine there definitely ain't any. That also explains the pushing through of the tap.
