Throttle reed switch install:
Holding McMaster reed switch in left hand, clothespin is holding reed switch in a 1/4" x .035" wall aluminium tube with tip set back from the edge 3/32" and JB KWIKed in place with wire side siliconed in place, you can see our aluminium clamp and 1/4" x 1/4" x 1/8" magnet that is stuck to G-10 that will be Reduxed to throttle lever. We first scuffed magnet, then JB KWIKed it to a 1/4" paint stirrer, (Basswood), then JB KWIKed the magnet/Bass to the G-10, then 2 ply model aeroplane glass and Aeropoxy/30 minute, (note glass is only .010" thick! but pretty rigid!!), then to make sure this magnet will stay put even after a 300Knot perfect one point landing, wrapped it with size E, (V-69), Dacron sewing thread, (Balloon typical), and used thin CA to wick in place. Installation of magnet assembly on throttle lever will be with Redux. Note throttle housing does not need to be disassembled to install aluminium clamp or magnet! Y8-10-26
