LED_Landing_light

Here is our Kuntzleman taxi LED that is on order, 3" diameter, 1" deep ~ 1.1 amps @ 12V (1.6 amps @ 14V) draw and under 6 oz. I spoke with Dick Y14-09-10 and he said output is ~ 2,000 Lumen s. It needs ~ 60 square inches of heat sink to not overheat. Prefer to keep temp 150F or less, absolute max. should be 160F. Plan to mount on starboard outrigger OR1 and have it retractable to a partial LED well fairing. Going to use Eric Jones Wig-Wag for Taxi and Landing LEDs for better recognition when desired.
