Learn something new every day. The conical angle with regard to optics is referenced to the centerline. Thus Kuntzleman uses a 12 degree lens which nets to a 24 degree net angle of cone. The AeroSun 1600 uses a 10 degree lens which nets to a 20 degree angle. We found that the Kuntzleman can be angled 4 perhaps 5 degrees up and down and still retain reasonable coverage. Within 2 degrees for optimum. The GE4509 max. is 3 degrees, probably 1 degree for optimum.
