Whatever type of aluminium Kuntzleman used to make power supply box, boy is it mushy, and boy does it machine poor. Drill mushes through and leaves a bump/burr. Even though was using a piloted countersink with precision stop, it tended to walk mushing hole to wrong location.
To prevent walking, inserting screw from behind so tip was flush with bottom surface and clamping with needle nose vise grip allowed use of nutplate as guide which helped.
