When digging out soft spot, found out it was plenty deep, and top layer or two of glass was never laminated in other areas (gloss on surfaces that should have been bonded).
I drew red mark, you can see green factory mark going other direction on this one of many pieces removed.

Also found a not too bad soft deep glop of uncured gelcoat on spine of fuse just going up fin, just fill is required but gel was soft and cracking. I hear that hinge area of doors are a suspect spot for soft gelcoat as well.
