Chapter Eight Starboard Wing Aileron Close outs. Spread the aileron opening area using a 2 ½ inch wide piece of wood wrapped in packing tape. This procedure has been added to the new manuals. It is necessary to spread the opening for full aileron movement. The reinforcement will cure and the close out will retain the proper gap.
