Spent the rest of the day working to install the rudder drive rod. Found out that the rod actually needs to be installed first on the rudder. Then is inserted through the hole in the stern post. The rudder is Clecoed in position. Finally, the opposite end of the rod is bolted to the drive mechanism. There is still considerable work to be done fitting this whole mess and making it work properly.
