The first big smoke test. Master on, gyros spin up, and power flags disappear on everything except the attitude indicator. The Grand Rapids EIS powers up and checks out. Avionics master on, the Garmin stack powers up, goes through internal checks and comes on line. The two CDI's check out and power up. Whoooeeee!! How great is that. Power down and pull the panel till I'm ready for the next set of tests and, hopefully, final installation.
