An oil reservoir that was mounted just a bit too close to the exhaust system. Look close at that black smudge toward the bottom of the reservoir. You'll see a small hole in the middle. Luckily, the heat damage was discovered by one the folks at Lockwood when the had if off for cleaning, before there was a hole. The hole happened when a mechanic touched the spot with a screwdriver blade. It was probably within a couple hours of failure.
