Notice the big black lump on the throttle cable where it connects to the carb mechanism. That is an installation specific feature which is there to ensure that the cable shroud never comes loose from the carb causing difficulties with throttle operation. Seems like a good idea to me. I'm trying to figure out how I can do something similar on my installation.
