2010 07 11 - Flew again! No flight pics. This ground pic will have to do. Flew 1.5, all in the pattern. T/O & L practice. Muchly needed after 4 months off. All full stop & taxi back. No bounce & go's yet. Comfort is returning. Little Dragon Lady wants FULL back stick after touch down. If I don't she reminds me quickly. Do it her way and everyone is happy. Don't do it her way and nobody is happy. Did 8. Nice winds. Went from 3 Kt 20 Deg at the start to 12G16 30-80 deg at the end. Between the winds and the skies filling with C-150 & C-172 training it became time to take a rest.
Oh, BTW, the new MDO "MAITRE CYLINDRE DE FREIN « AU MANCHE »" and replacement Grove brake caliper are AWESOME!! Brake holds to 5000 rpm so runup is easy. And braking with ONE finger! It's soooo slick! Just remember to only brake when straight and hold the stick in your tummy.
I'll be back out early tomorrow for more T/O & L practice. Maybe have some time to go out and exercise in the afternoon. Up to 22.8 hrs.
