The realization has just set in that Tommy forgot to tell/show Charlie how to switch the alternator on. Dead battery. And Charlie had a student to run to. So Tommy and I had to drag a Toot (grab an "I" strut and pull) about 1/4 mile from the pumps to Tommy's hanger so we could get a charger on the battery and taxi it back to it's normal hanger space. I got to spend the rest of the day helping Tommy clean the bugs off the leading edges, cowl, wheel pants, etc.

Still looking forward to my turn in a Toot.
