First thing I found was that the air cleaner now hit the inlet lip. I made some room for it. Helped, but still problems. Exhaust now hit the back of the cowl opening. When I looked up the back of the cooling duct, I saw that the oil cooler was preventing the cowling from occupying the proper location. Seems that with the wings on and sitting on its own wheels, not supported by any thing else, the engine has dropped down by about 1/4 inch (0.65 cm) or so. Everything was such a close fit before that the small movement now causes serious fit issues. I have begun to raise the oil cooler by about 1/4" to see if that helps. I'll probably have to apply some light abrasives to the exhaust pipe opening to make a bit more clearance there as well. Pics of all that tomorrow...
