2008 01 11 - Weather finally improved enough to get to the hanger for a while. I cut a hole through the bottom of the foot well area to gain access to the underside of the floorboard to evaluate the situation. I was in dread that I had not applied the 2 plies of BID to the underside of the floorboard as I had no pics documenting it. Well, here's proof that I did accomplish that task. The anchor nut pulled up through the BID and the plywood. Repair will be an aluminum plate with two anchor nut bonded to the underside of the floor. We'll cover this hole with a stainless steel plate backed by the cutout from the hole and sealed with RTV silicone. Plate held in place with 6 or 8 anchor nuts. BTW, I'm seriously considering making the same repair to the other side before it pulls out.
