Port layup looks OK, but the fit is awful as well.

Aft sill cover 32.
Here you can see out third screw G-10 attachments.
First we applied 3M 375 packaging tape to the fuse and aft covers and applied some JB KWIK weld to made a guide for sanding G-10.
We scuff sanded the tape on the covers to force the JB to stick to the cover, but it was not too cooperative. After we waxed the fuse tape on subsequent attempts that did the trick to force the JB to stick to the covers.
Once we had sanding guide in place the aft holes were drilled and JB sanding guides trimmed to allow G-10 hardpoints to fit flush on cover.
After fabricating the G-10 hardpoints, we applied tape to the G-10 and scuff sanded the the aft covers, then screwed the G-10 to covers after applying JB KWIK weld to give us a perfect fit / pad.
