Supplied nuts are too thick for the thin side of the tang 1.

Supplied nuts are too thick for the thin side of the tang for my liking. It would require the tang to be too thin IMHO. I ground off top of nu,t (stop feature), where thickness was down to .125". only problem was first attempt when i was just about there, i allowed the right side of nut to hit belt. BAD DEAL! It unscrewed nut and it landed itself somewhere unknown, probably in a pile of sanding dust.
