Mid door pin and striker for port door 3.

Good thing this Cobalt steel McMaster .1875" countersink with drill point is double sided. I broke off drill tip first attempt. When machining stainless you need to keep on cutting. If you slow cut too much it will work harden and things go downhill fast. I tried first time without any cutting fluid and tip jammed and broke. Second time I used Tapmagic, what a difference but needed to clean up mess afterwards. Both pin plate and striker plate cut beautiful with Tapmagic as a cutting fluid. Note that countersink with drill point has flutes on side only for a short distance, thus large surface area of smooth rod so wood can do its job of being a drill jig without getting milled sideways. Even though this is not called a center drill, it is very stiff and does not walk very easily. Drilling on a 45 degree angle is a lot easier with a small drill, thus this tool having a small starter drill works great.
