DSCN5319Ann

While I had Kent and Curt available, I tackled mating the cowl top and bottom. We were able to complete drilling and clecoing the cowl.

WARNING!! Wrong order! Fit the upper cowl to the fuselage first. Then, fit the lower cowl to the fuselage with the upper cowl in place. Make sure that the upper and lower cowlings fit the fuselage and are properly aligned with the prop flange and the little lip on the front of the gearbox. Then apply abrasives as necessary to the lower edge of the upper cowl to fit against the joggle on the lower cowl. Once you have that fit, then drill and cleco the upper cowl to the lower.
