Trial fitting the module. Before doing so it pays to sand off all ridges in the unmoulded bottom side. The front flange in particular can be flattened considerably to better fit the firewall. Pulling the whole lot tight with weights and ratchets. Afterwards there were only a few small spots which needed adhesive injection. Fixing the module tight to the fuselage. Instead of the recommended rivets we used self tapping screws, lightly oiled, and blocks of wood on the outside. This has the (theoretical) advantage of not creating dimples by spreading the load better.
