While the door frames were standing there I decided to fit the covers. I cut out the area where the latch will run and spent a lot of time with abrasives fitting the cutout so that the latch worked freely. Port latch cover trimmed and in place. The latch is shown in mid-stroke. It seems to work well enough. Again, repeated this for both doors.
