There was a comment on the Europa Forum about an article in the Europa News (#25) about reinforcement of the fuselage skin behind the fuel filler pipe. I went back and checked that article (March 2000) on my Europa Club CD and the supplemental instructions were there. Three plies of BID were recommended, suitably placed, to prevent the fuel filler pipe from "printing" through the skin. OK, good timing to read it, just before I will be installing the fuel filler pipe. So, I applied the 3 staggered plies of BID and covered it with peel ply.
