As expected, the W26 (aft) sockets will require that a plywood filler be made up to fill the gap. The gap is about 7mm at the front and 12mm at the back due to the curve of the fuselage. The instructions are pretty specific as to how the spacer is to be constructed. Has to be plywood. Has to be circular, a bit larger than the base of the socket. If multiple layers of plywood are needed each layer should be slightly larger than the previous. The fuselage side has to be sanded curved to match the curve of the fuselage.
