WingSet32Ann

Lee and I attempted to fully install the wings, spar pins and all. Took a fair bit of effort but we got the port wing on and the spar pins in place. When we pressed the starboard spar pin in, the threads caught on the far side of the spar socket and we played heck getting it back out again. Decided that it was time to jump ahead about 10 pages and properly prepare the starboard spar pin for use. This involved cutting the threaded end off, making the shank of the pin 85mm long. This only took about 2 hours and 4 1/2 hacksaw blades. It is a hardened pin. Once cut off, the end of the pin was filed to be more rounded. Click on pic for more details and warnings...
