This morning, went up to U.S. Flight Academy and finalized the preparations for flight instruction. I start work on the Instrument Rating this Friday. I didn't like the way I had positioned the two antenna splitters for the Nav radios. I was adjusting them and when I tried to tighten the nuts holding the splitter for #2 the bond holding the stud came free. I was able to remove the 2nd stud as well. I cleaned up the epoxy on the studs, mixed up a tiny batch of Araldite 420 A/B and bonded them back to the instrument panel. This time, I positioned the splitter in a better location. Spent the rest of the afternoon sanding and filling on the fuselage. Nothing worth a pic.
