Picked up a package from FedEx. It was the new 75 Amp ammeter and shunt I ordered from Gulf Coast Avionics. Plans are for a 40 Amp 2nd alternator to supplement the ROTAX standard 18 Amp alternator. That's a potential total of 58 Amps so the existing 45 Amp ammeter was too small. First, removed the 45 Amp shunt. This shows the two shunts. The 75 Amp shunt is noticeably larger.

That sounded like just too darn much for what I had so I went back to my spreadsheet and found an error. Turns out that max current is 39 Amps. I will split the inbound current anyway to give plenty of margin on the wiring.
