The Bowden cable and sheath will only be used as a final resort as they require the most alteration and rework of the system. I have 0.065 solid stainless steel wire on order from McMaster-Carr. If I can get it straightened out off the spool, I hope to be able to use it as an almost direct replacement for the 0.065 stranded wire. The only change will be the method of attachment to the throttle lever. I hope to have all the necessary pieces in house by next weekend so I can have the aircraft back in service that weekend.
