The carb pressure connections. It does run rough without that balance tube connected. Spent about 2 hrs & 15 minutes (0730 - 0945) getting the idle speed set and balanced. Then balancing again at 3600 RPM. When all balanced at max sensitivity, shut down and reconnected the balance tube. Ran the engine to check it out from idle to 5800 rpm. Plugged in the nifty electronic carb synchronizing gizmo. Calibrated it for zero at max sensitivity.

(Set this all up back on Wednesday evening only to find out the 9v battery was dead. Crapola. Tear it all down and put the airplane away. Then re-assembled the remainder of the throttle linkage and tested it. It works nice and smooth. Unfortunately, due to a number of required errands, didn't have time to run the engine and sync the carbs. With any luck, I'll be able to do that tomorrow after work.
