Tie-bar 57.

I understand that the 5 bolts in the gusset area are primarily under shear, not tension, thus slight crookedness is not as bad as if they were under tension.
That said, I don't like the crookedness much and will deal with as follows:
**All bolt heads and nuts will get Mcmaster self leveling washers. They will deal with up to 4 degree misalignment. The dimensions are about identical to the washer called out in the manual for the nut.
**I will Redux all bolts upon final install to accommodate any oval holes I drilled.
**I will put a little Redux / Flox on the plates when setting them on the wood gusset.
**I will put a mini fillet of Redux / Flox on the contact area between the plates and tie-bar to widen that contact area a little from a single point.
