These 3MM LEDs have their legs .100" apart. I think I used a .040" or .045" drill, I drilled first hole near stud, dialed outboard .100" and drilled second hole, dialed outboard .400" and drilled third hole, dialed outboard .100" and drilled fourth hole, etc., etc five times.
