Composite rivets 2.

Composite rivets 2.
We didn't document all the voids, but take my word for it there were plenty. Some were found by tapping a quarter and sanding off gelcoat. Easy to spot where the gelcoat was removed on the window bonding area in the rebate and also the area where gelcoat was removed for carbon fiber layup.
If void was on edge would scuff sand with X-Acto knife with mini saw and drill only one side and inject with Redux.
If didn't want to cut through good Redux bond to scuff sand void, installed composite rivets. If you inject Redux to unscuffed surface, it does not make a very strong bond.
