Emergency Maneuver that starts with Heim? 1 of 13

In the following 12 pics, I will describe my "Heims Fitting Maneuver" that is intended for use only under emergency circumstances.
It does not quite offer the life saving potential of the maneuver created by Henry Judah Heimlich, but the Ronald John Parigoris Heims Fitting maneuver may prevent a main gear collapse upon landing, or the inability to retract the main gear and get it locked in the up position.
On STC aeroplanes, you will see the Mfgs. installing a wide area washer on the outboard side of a Heims fitting for the throttle. The intention of this maneuver is to prevent the throttle cable from becoming disconnected from the throttle arm in the event of a Heims fitting failure. Without the wide area washer, the broken Heims may be able to slip over a small area washer and the head of bolt (or screw), completely disconnecting the throttle cable from the arm..
My aft self aligning pillow block is not mfged by Heims (Igus is the mfg.), but it pretty much functions the same. In the case of the throttle fitting, it's not being axial loaded very much. My aft pillow block is very much so being axial loaded.
The Igus pillow block is rated for short term axial loading of over 300 lbs, but none the less if the ball popped out of the socket for whatever reason, you would either not be able to fully retract the main gear, or worst yet would not be able to get the main gear down and locked.
Thus I made my attempt at a light weight wide area washer made out of 7075 aluminium (that machines beautiful with no metal splinters!) that will allow enough articulation needed above and beyond the built in 8 degree deflection of the Series 6 push-pull cable that is being used.
After all this effort, watch the fool black glass reinforced plastic holder crack both on the front and aft side just inboard of the mounting bolts allowing to happen what I am trying to prevent.
"Oh well" if it does happen and the gear collapses, I made my best .3oz attempt to prevent.
