Called up our Applied Archaic Technology skills and fabricated a down and dirty top skin profile gauge.
Comparing profile of wingtip and mid aileron rib, decided to space off top skin a little less than a mixing stick thickness in an area that was shy as you can see marked with tape.
The slightly thinned mixing stick is in place in this pict between the top skin and the wingtip flange.
