The angle of attack needed for aiming is going to make "cruise" frontal area a bit more. Justin Kennedy dosen't have outrigger wheel fairings and has outriggers on electric motors, cruise increase up compared to down is 1 to 2 knots. Frontal area of Taxi and Landing LEDs a lot less than both outrigger legs. All that said trying to design so removable or installiation can be accomplished in minutes (one screw each side and using easy to use Sermos (similar to Anderson PowerPole) connectors).
