07 Plumbing the new tank

All the original lower plumbing attachments were damaged to some extent when removed from the tank. They required modification and repair of function. The original vent system was grossly undersized making filling a messy chore. If you tried to fill too fast, the tank would burp a quart or two of fuel all over you. So a new, more robust, vent system was made up. Also a new sight gage was installed . The old gage did not provide visual affirmation of more than half a tank of fuel. You couldn't tell if you had a full tank or just half a tank. The new sight gage shows up to a full tank.
