I can only fit one comm antenna into the aircraft but I have two radios. I am installing one of Bob Archers antenna switches. This acts as a splitter so both radios can receive on one antenna. But when you transmit, it disconnects the non-transmitting radio from the antenna so you don't blow it up. I needed the signal from the "Key" line from the audio panel for each radio. I took the whole instrument panel up to my local Garmin shop (Tech Aero Avionic Systems, 2080 Skylane, Hanger E4, Denton, TX 76207 940-387-6637) and had them pig-tail a set of "Key" leads for me. A great shop. They had the work done by 1300 hrs the same day I took it in and the cost was only $60. Amazing.
