Bolted the tailwheel strut to a level table and checked to see if it had been bent. It appears to be true with no bending or twisting. Something must have happened to the surface on which the strut bolts. Further evaluation will happen tomorrow morning. Tommy is making a supporting bracket and we have made up a shim to go under strut to see if that helps.
