Removed the clamps from the bonded bushings. Adjusted the length and shaped the bushed ends. Opened the bushing holes to accept an AN4 washer-head bolt. Fitted the starboard side arms and bolted them together. Used a #21 drill and 10-24 tap to make a threaded hole in the upper arm for the gas strut fitting. Threaded the hole in the lower arm for the other fitting. Installed the gas strut and tested the unit.
