These wires need to be physically identified on the back of the GMA 340. Not a trivial task. These are bundled cables of wires on the back. I had to cut the cable ties and expose the individual wires so I could identify the wires with labels. It is complicated by the fact that the wires are 3 conductor shielded wires and I can't see where the individual wires are connected to the J1 connector. I was able to identify the two wires, one for each radio. But I have no idea which of the individual conductors in each is the transmit key signal. I'm afraid that the instrument panel will have to be taken to a Garmin shop and have them isolate the key signal wire and provide lines for the antenna switch. Not sure what I'll tackle tomorrow.
