Removed the tie bar and fittings.

Cut 8 pieces of BID, each 6"x14" . Cut strips of peel ply to cover the layups.

Scuff sanded the back of the cockpit module where the layups will be made.

Mixed up a batch of epoxy/FLOX. Used a baggy to "pipe" a generous bead of FLOX around the juncture of the plywood gusset with the back of the cockpit module. This will form a FLOX fillet to make a proper transition from the plywood to the back.

Mixed a big batch of epoxy. Laid up 4 plies of the BID on a sheet of polyethylene. Carried it out to the Europa and placed it over the port side gusset. Used a chip brush to press it down to fit in place around the gusset.

Covered the layup with peel ply
