XS Monowheel, Short Wing, Intercooled 914, Airmaster C/S Prop, Grand Rapids EIS, Garmin radio stack. Construction time: 257 hrs in 2002, 569 hrs in 2003, 1135 hrs in 2004. Stopped counting in 2005 but probably about 350 hrs. Probably about 500 hrs in 2006. Probably add another 500 in 2007. Still having fun. WARNING: Build diary is in time sequence. If you like an idea I had, be sure to read ahead and make sure it actually worked. There are a few dead ends where ideas didn't work out and I have not identified all of them yet at the beginning. If you would like a full resolution copy of any of the pics, let me know and I'll be happy to dig it up and send it on to you.

Europa XS Trigear 912S.
Work was begun on November 28, 2003. Over 1300 work hours have been logged on this project through January 1 2009. I didn't have much build time in 2008. That pesky job got in the way. But I'm back at it in 09! Still gluing, riveting, sanding and having a BLAST! These are my build photos arranged by Europa Builders Manual chapters.
