Wing connections are being run, black hose is going to stall warner switch, bundle of wires going to port side over top of tank and safety wire is for starboard side wires, (when we get hold of more expanding nylon sleeving).
Hmm, some removed fuse seam hole plastic inside headrest.
Even though connector has reasonable tension, wanted a more positive lock. Tape would work but nowhere near as eloquent.
Managed to maintain detent (screw).
Will get some Redux/glass to better bond top and bottom together and a tube to tether from a small bungee. Will seal wire end with non corrosive clear silicone.
Used Bridgeport milling machine to mutilate Festo connector with 2 flute 1/2" cutter.
Top bonded to bottom with JB KWIK weld.
Anderson powerpole connectors held together with model aeroplane CA, (they are tongue and groove).
"Starboard wing connector. The fuzzy one that's out of focus in the back. Believe it or not, four connectors took four hours to complete. Of course, it didn't help when I misconnected the red wires on the Starboard connector. (AAARRRRGGGHHH)"
"2008 12 20 - Even when you are done, you really aren't done. Was doing airspeed calibrations today and was having problems. Wanted to check the pitot & static connections inside wing root. Pulled the wing and found the problem. Both lines had been crimped badly. Crushed very badly. Cut out the 2 inches, (5 cm), of crushed lines. Ordered some tubing connections from McMaster-Carr. Will have to splice in some new tubing. Also need to find out what was the problem crushing the lines."
