D-cover carbon fiber tubes go through these fiberglass tubes (nice fit) to help support shelf in addition to the 4 screws that are holding the shelf flanges to the baggage bay.
To drop shelf down for aft access just need to remove D-cover, 4 screws then shelf folds out of the way.
Fiberglass tubes are JB KWIKed to balsa, then balsa JB KWIKed to shelf, then a little flox and 3 plys of thin model aeroplane cloth up and over.
Layout of wires figured out. Ready to trim shelf to size and bond in wire and cable holders.
