Managed to get a little bit of work done this morning before I had to run off and do errands.
Unlatched the door and popped it open. The peel-ply worked, kept the door from being permanently bonded shut. Pulled off the peel-ply and cleaned up the Araldite. Worked the door a couple times to check. Works great.
